Tata RaceMo - India's own supercar

Tata RaceMo is the latest Indian built supercar.

Tata Motors has just unveiled its most ambitious RaceMo sports coupe on the first day of the 87th Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland.

Production ready

Unlike the concept models Tata showcased in earlier motor shows, the RaceMo is a production-ready Sportscar which will hit the Indian roads in the second half of 2018. This is one of the most bizarre looking car in the world.

The Racemo is also India’s first connected car. It will have features such as advanced navigation, predictive maintenance, remote monitoring and over-the-air updates using Microsoft cloud-based technologies including analytics, Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning powered by Microsoft Azure.
To be launched in India in early 2018, the car has a sub-four-metre length (3,835mm) and a rear-mounted mid-engine layout. It is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol aluminum engine that develops an output of 187bhp and 210Nm of torque, taking the car from 0-100kph in under 6 seconds. The expected price is about Rs 25 lakh.
